Besides its public affairs core mission, AEBIOM develops its expertise in a set of activities in which its members are closely involved. The European Biomass Association is currently involved in 10 European projects. In addition to deepening the knowledge about bioenergy, these projects offer bioenergy promotion opportunities and an excellent network of contacts. Another key AEBIOM mission is to raise the awareness of EU stakeholders and public opinion on the opportunities offered by bioenergyin Europe. To achieve this goal, AEBIOM developed communication actions like its latest campaign Biomass Counts. To build its positions, the association can rely on its umbrella organisations (EPC, EIPS, IBTC) and its working groups.
