WG Agricultural Biomass and Energy Crops

Alternative and dedicated biomass sources have a significant potential for the bioenergy sector. Solid, vegetal residues from agriculture as well as dedicated cultures of a perennial nature (i.e. lignocellulosic crops) result in abundant feedstock sources which are – to this day – largely underutilized.

The Working Group on Agricultural Biomass and Energy Crops, open to all AEBIOM members, aims at supporting the development of this sector and better communicate on the potentials and benefits of this biomass at EU level.
